With a team of more than a dozen high-end developers, Friendly has invested over $10 million in the last decade to create the most advanced golf simulation code base in the world.

Friendly Software, producers of Microsoft Golf 1998 and 1999 Editions, has distributed more PC golf games than any other company.

AboutGolf's graphics are unparalleled, with greater resolution and detail, including moving clouds, flags that blow the direction and intensity of the wind, and even tee signs that can be read.

AboutGolf's physicists continue to perfect algorithms that translate the Sim Sensor's tracking data into accurate shot results, including precise collision physics relative to trees, rocks, cart paths, sloped lies, and all types of terrain.

Only AboutGolf provides a fully 3D rendered environment, critical to realistic play. Trees are fully 3D, so collisions with trunks, leaves, and branches are just as in real life. It's actually possible to hit a ball into the cup-holder of a golf cart.
