18-Hole Championship Golf Course

The Atkinson Country Club's golf course is a 72-par course that has gained recognition as one of the best-conditioned and golf courses in New England.

Practice Facility

Our Practice Facility is designed to truly help golf players improve their game, with 15,000 square feet of grass tees and 12,000 square feet of putting greens.

28 Courses of Championship Indoor Golf

All under one roof, Merrill's Tavern Virtual Golf & Billiards offers year-round virtual golf with 28 different courses to choose from. Year-round indoor golf is the perfect way to keep your skills sharp in the off-season or for beginners to try out a round before getting on the golf course.

Walking/Jogging

Enjoy the golf course cart paths in the off-season for an exquisite view of some of our 400 acres. From birch trees to rock formations, it is a site to behold!

Fitness Equipment

Our Men's and Women's locker room facilities are fully equipped with lockers, showers and a fitness equipment center, featuring Vision Fitness Elliptical X6600 HRT, Landice Pro Sports Trainer Treadmill, Body Solid Multi Gym, and Vision Fitness Bike 2600 HRT.

Cross-country Skiing

In the off-season (December 15 - March 31, weather permitting), our serene, wooded property becomes a winter wonderland. Well-groomed trails on the Atkinson Country Club's Front Nine have 4.5 kilometers of more evenly sloped terrain for the beginner skiers. The Back Nine is 3.5 kilometers and suitable for a more advanced workout.

Snow Shoeing

Free of charge and available to the public 7 days a week when Mother Nature cooperates. Please bring your own snowshoes.
